The House is a two minute walk from the beach and village of Aberdaron, with its  church, post office, shops, cafes and two public houses.

The well-known Whistling Sands beach is about two and a half miles from the village and there are numerous other beaches and secluded coves which offer safe bathing and sailing.

There are delightful cliff walks and a wealth of wildlife.

Fishing trips and visits to Bardsey Island can be arranged locally.
